La troupe

La Septima est créée en 2020 par Pauline Schill. La troupe actuelle s'est rencontrée à l'école internationale Jacques Lecoq et dans les conservatoires parisiens. Une passion nous réunit: créer des projets artistiques en prise directe avec les lieux et qui engagent le public avec nous. En 2022, une branche anglaise de la compagnie voit le jour. 

Des troupes qui nous édifient, comme la compagnie Renaud -Barrault, nous retenons la soif du monde, l’amour de la vie, la ténacité, l’attachement viscéral aux lieux de jeu, la solidarité entre membres, le désir d’une alternance entre transmission de répertoire et création contemporaine, la permanence et la polyvalence des membres, le goût du voyage, l’esprit de famille.

Noé Forrisier

NOE FORRISIER

 

Noé grew up near Geneva in a family
who valued artistry as much as they did craftsmanship, creativity as much as they did ingenuity. 


He studied music and composition at the Conservatoire, while at the same time training in in the theatre. He continued this training at the Jacques Lecoq school where he also followed the experimental scenography course at the L.E.M.

Camille Gibily

CAMILLE GIBILY

Originally, Camille was a publisher and cultural programmer. That was before she ran away to the circus to work as an acrobat.
 

Like many of the Light Whale team, she completed her training at the Jacques Lecoq school where she developed a passion for writing, construction and the languages of the absurd.

She is an experienced puppeteer and acrobat and can often been seen either in the workshop or six feet in the air!

Adam Mirsky

ADAM MIRSKY

Adam Mirsky is an actor, musician and puppeteer based in Bristol. 

 

He studied at the University of Cambridge and trained with the National Youth Theatre. He has performed with Wise Children under Emma Rice and now performs extensively at The Tobacco Factory. 

He plays guitar, likes to make his own puppets and is a brilliant event manager.

Martin Bassindale

MARTIN BASSINDALE

Martin is an actor and musician. 

Martin trained at Bristol Old Vic and went on to have a stint with the bard, at the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has since worked across televisiona and film.

Often seen with a backpack PA and a microphone, Martin is often the protagonist of our parades. Complementing people's lanterns, cracking jokes and reciting poetry.

Jonathan Ben-Shaul 

JONATHAN BEN-SHAUL

Jonathan is a community artist and choreographer working on the boundary between dance, architecture, and crafts. 

 

He trained at l’ecole Jacques Lecoq and works regularly with Moving House Films on dance documentaries about people's relationship with the places they live. He teaches movement to architects and works regularly in Lviv to create a new theatre for young Ukrainians.

Hagan

ELISE HAGAN

Elise is a Franco-British actor and theatre maker based in Marseille. 

She used to work in the social sector before training at the Jacques Lecoq theatre school.

Now she creates theatre which weaves together strands as varied as physical theatre, clown, puppetry, documentary and political theatre.

She also very much enjoys facilitating forum theatre workshops with young people. 

She loves to sing, climb on other people's shoulders and chat to as many people as possible at a parade!
